The Town seeks professional engineering services for municipal projects as well as review for private developments with combined task order amount not to exceed $50,000 per calendar year. The chosen firm will handle questions, planning, and review that do not require a separate request for proposal. The Town reserves the right to utilize an on-call engineering firm contracted with the Town for the services related to large-scale projects. The services may include but are not limited to sanitary sewer design, storm sewer design, sanitary sewer modeling, storm sewer modeling, erosion and sediment control plan design, storm-water management plan design, SWPPP development, preliminary engineering report development, capital improvements plan development, phase planning, survey and easement acquisition, assistance with MS4 program plan development, or any other engineering related service needed by the Town. The Town would like to complete the selection process and have a contract with the selected firm no later than January 2023. Listing of key personnel assigned to this contract; provide number of employees, company title, and licensure. A listing of specific requirements, if any, which the Town will need to provide or meet prior to starting the contract. Attachments A, B and C included at the end of this RFP. Proposals received after the stated deadline will not be accepted. After the PROPOSALS are reviewed, the Town may meet with the firm or firms they deem best qualified for a more detailed discussion of the project. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all proposals for any reason. This Request for Proposal does not commit the Town to pay any costs incurred by the individuals or firms in the preparation and submission of the proposal. The Town of Abingdon reserves the right to reject any or all proposals at any time without penalty. The Town of Abingdon assures compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended. The consultant and all sub-consultants selected for this project will be required to submit a Title VI Evaluation Report (EEO-D2) within 10 work days of notification of selection when requested by the Department. This requirement applies to all consulting firms when the contract amount equals or exceeds $10,000. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
