Renovation of a museum in Caledonia, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
Question Deadline: Thu Apr 6, 2023 4:30:00 PM (EDT) This Bid Request is an invitation by Haldimand County to prospective Bidders to submit Bids to complete the window frame restoration for specific Heritage Windows at Edinburgh Square Heritage & Cultural Centre (80 Caithness Street East, Caledonia, ON.). This invitation also involves the complete historic replica replacement of the sash and storm windows. Dealing with the unique historical significance, special procedures, and precautions will be required to be used throughout the restoration and all other work that is specified within the project scope. The Contractor will be required to enter into the Contract with the Owner for the provision of the Deliverables as stated in this Bid Request. It is the Owner's intention to enter into the Contract with only one (1) legal entity. The Contractor shall commence work under the Contract on or about Tuesday, May 2, 2023 Substantial completion date is set for Tuesday, August 22, 2023. Total completion is Tuesday, September 5, 2023. Documents can be obtained at https://haldimandcounty.bidsandtenders.ca/ Award is subject to final approval.
