Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Upper Uwchlan Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

A Certified Check or Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Uwchlan Township in the amount equal to Ten percent (10%) of the amount of the Bid must be submitted with the proposal as Bid Security. The Contract involves but is not limited to: Removal of the existing culvert pipes with concrete encasement, stone wing walls, and concrete bin blocks, installation of a previously ordered precast concrete Conspan O-Series Arch Bridge Structure with Express Footings, installation of previously ordered concrete revetment mattress, riprap rock slope installation, demolition and reconstruction of existing asphalt road surrounding the culvert, and stabilization work. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a one hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond and a one hundred percent (100%) Labor and Materials Bond with an eighteen (18) month warranty within ten (10) days of the bid award, executed by a surety authorized to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Uwchlan Township hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to refuse any or all Bids submitted; and also reserves the right to waive any informality in Bids received, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor, which must be paid to workers employed on this project, are incorporated in the Contract Documents. The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body under Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act.
