The Stevens County Public Works Department solicits interest from consulting firms with expertise in Civil and Structural Engineering Design. This agreement will be for approximately 1 year in duration with the option for Stevens County Public Works to extend it for additional time and money if necessary. The Stevens County Public Works Department reserves the right to amend terms of this "Request for Qualifications" (RFQ) to circulate various addenda, or to withdraw the RFQ at any time, regardless of how much time and effort consultants have spent on their responses. Project consists of demolishing existing bridge and constructing a new bridge in the same location. The work to be performed by the CONSULTANT consists of: Structural, hydraulic, and traffic engineering associated with all aspects of bridge design and bridge traffic safety. Site surveys to facilitate structural and general civil engineering. Permitting and regulatory agency liaison. Geotechnical engineering related to foundation support and construction. It is possible that other design related services will be required for successful completion of the project. It will be the responsibility of the consultant to identify any necessary additional services and include said services in their proposal. The Stevens County Public Works Department reserves the right to retain the services of the successful firm for any subsequent phases (R/W, CN) associated with this project. The Stevens County Public Works Department in accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act (Section 504) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), commits to nondiscrimination on the basis of disability, in all of its programs and activities. The method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
