The U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration (EDA) is considering a request for Federal assistance from the City of Danville to construct the Lebanon Road/Clarks Run Trunk Sewer Improvements, Phase 2 in Danville, Boyle County, Kentucky. Pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), EDA is conducting an assessment of the potential of the proposed project to affect the environment and/or historic properties. Notice is hereby given that the project is proposed to be located in, or may affect, a floodplain and/or wetland as defined by Executive Order (EO) 11988 and/or EO 11990. The project will include approximately 9,500 linear feet (LF) of gravity sanitary sewer lines sized 15-inch to 36-inch and improvements to a wastewater storage lagoon. The project will be located at the end of Woods Drive, Danville and will generally follow Clarks Run along or in place of an existing sewer line, extending to 1524 Lebanon Road, Danville. Project information is available for review at the City of Danville Municipal Utilities Director's office, 387 E. Lexington Avenue, Danville, KY 40422, phone (859) 238-1241.If you have any information regarding potential impacts to historic properties or environmental resources including wetlands or floodplains associated with this proposed project, A copy of the NEPA/NHPA decisional document will be available upon request at the EDA Atlanta Regional Office.
