Sealed bids will be accepted by Los Angeles County Public Works, Project Management Division III, for the reconstruction of various streets, highways, and facilities Countywide, and the performance of other incidental and appurtenant work under Project ID No. RMDJOC6744, Pavement Reconstruction (Sustainable), North Los Angeles County within the unincorporated communities of North Los Angeles County The work shall be done in accordance with the Contract Documents on file and open for inspection at Public Works. The contract price will be $5,250,000 and shall be for one year or until $5,250,000 of work orders have been completed, whichever occurs first. The prime contractor shall possess a valid California Class A or C-12 contractor's license. Prebid questions regarding the Plans and Specifications shall be submitted via email only to: Ms. Irma Vargas at irvargas@pw.lacounty.gov. Prebid questions will not be accepted after 5 p.m. on Monday, December 12, 2022. Each bid must be accompanied by a surety bond payable to County of Los Angeles in an amount equal to at least $525,000 to guarantee that the bidder will enter into the contract if it is so awarded. The successful bidder will be required to submit a faithful performance bond in the amount of $5,250,000, a payment bond in the amount of $5,250,000, liability insurance, automobile insurance, and worker's compensation insurance with the contract.
