The Groundwater Separation Demonstration is advanced site work for the Stage 13 landfill expansion and includes general site work, selective demolition, material segregation, processing, stockpiling, and hauling, excavation, filling, and grading, stormwater control, stormwater infrastructure construction, installation of 60-mill HDPE geomembrane, and all other pertinent work as described on the plans and project documents. Since time is of the essence, the Stage 13 Groundwater Separation Demonstration Project and all other work must be substantially completed within 150 days of the Notice to Proceed. It is anticipated that the Notice to Proceed will be issued and work will commence on or about May 1, 2023. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in any or all proposals, to reject any or all proposals, or accept any proposal submitted for the project, as deemed by the Owner to be in its best interests based upon qualifications, experience, demonstrated ability to perform, cost, and other factors deemed by the Owner to bear on the successful outcome of the Contract.
