Estimated Construction Cost: $4,000,000.00 The Health Science consolidation project is a renovation project consolidating the Dental Hygiene program from two buildings into the Health Science building along with the renovation of the vacant space of the Medical Technical building for the currently off-site Cosmetology program. The project will include retrofit of existing lighting, classroom/lab space, adjustments to the HVAC system, installation of infrastructure to support new dental lab and cosmetology equipment. Demo and reconstruction of walls, flooring upgrades, electronic door hardware reconfiguration, lighting retrofit, HVAC modification, electrical and plumbing needs throughout both buildings to support the need renovation of the dental and comitology program within the Health Science and Medical Technical buildings. Exterior grading, landscaping and patio installation, parking lot and sidewalk renovation along with roofing scope will be part of the project scope. Prospective contractors should have extensive experience with renovation within the noted estimated construction costs, work at the state institution level along with an aggressive deadline of less than 6 months for dental followed by 6 months on cosmetology. Per C.R.S. 24-105-201 If the construction value is $50,000 or greater a Bid Bond and Power of Attorney or Proposal Guaranty is required in an amount not less than 5% of the total Bid.
