Renovation of a municipal facility in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of April 19, 2023, bids received were rejected. No definite date for the rebid. The City of Portsmouth is seeking proposals from qualified masonry contractors for repointing and repairs to the walls of the Municipal Complex Seybolt and Administration buildings as shown on the attached work plan. Work will include brick replacement, precast repairs, repointing of precast trim and brick veneer, to begin no later than July 1, 2023 and be complete by October 1, 2023. Questions may be addressed to the Purchasing Coordinator no later than Monday February 13th, 2023. The City of Portsmouth reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technical or legal deficiencies, to re-bid, and to accept any bid that it may deem to be in the best interest of the City. Each Bidder shall furnish a bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid. The Bid Security may be in the form of a certified check or a bid bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of New Hampshire, made payable to the City of Portsmouth, N.H.
