Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Gloucester, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Gloucester seeks sealed bids the scope of work under this contract includes, but is not limited to, road grinding, coldplaning, fine grading, resurfacing, paving, granite curb installation, sidewalk and ADA wheelchair ramp construction and reconstruction, roadway striping and other related work on various roads to be determined by the City (minimum 500ft sections) in Gloucester, MA. Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply. A bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the total bid price must accompany each bid. Bidders may not obtain an Official Bid document without being listed on the official Mass Hwy Prequal list. The class of work determined by MassDot is D4 = Highway Construction. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to accept that which is deemed in the best interest of the City. The City shall not be responsible for bids arriving late for any reason.
