All labor, equipment, materials, and supplies necessary and reasonably inferable for the renovation of Graduate School of Social Work 101, (Building 549) approximately 3,620 gross square feet of an existing assembly space in accordance with the drawings and specifications prepared by Hellmuth, Obata and Kassabaum, Inc. The scope of work includes, but not limited to, new ceilings, millwork, flooring, new doors and frames, wall finishes, new AudioVisual equipment, MEP, fixed seating, furniture, and signage. MEP includes, but not limited to modifying existing ductwork, new LED lighting, and electrical. The existing fire sprinkler heads will also need to be modified per the new ceiling layout in accordance with the drawings and specifications of which a copy is attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit A The successful Respondent shall pay not less than the wage scale of the various classes of labor as shown on the prevailing wage schedule as established by the United States Department of Labor in accordance with the Davis-Bacon Act, as amended, for Harris County as of the dates proposals are due. Owner makes no representation of any kind that an award will be made as a result of this RFP or for the Project. Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals, waive any formalities or minor technical inconsistencies in Proposal, or reissue this RFP or delete any items/requirements from this RFP when deemed to be in Owner’s best interest. Selection of a Proposal, if any, will be made in strict compliance with the requirements of Texas Education Code § 51.783.
