Fire Alarm Improvements at the Flint Memorial Library, 147 Park St, North Reading, MA 01864. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The scope of work, without limiting the generality thereof, includes all labor, materials, equipment and services required to perform the work described fully in the Specifications section and includes, but is not limited to the following work: a. Fully inspect all existing fire alarm system and the structure with regard to cabling pathways. Alert the engineer promptly if the system includes any troubles or other factors that would impede the work. b. Replace the existing conventional zoned fire alarm system with an addressable system as described on the drawings and specification c. Replace all existing devices with addressable devices: a. Base bid: Replace all SLC devices in kind. Replace all NAC devices in kind. b. Add Alt #1: Replace all SLC devices in kind. Provide new NAC devices spaced per code (as depicted on the drawings.) Provide new NAC wiring throughout. d. Perform miscellaneous carpentry and painting for any required cutting and patching. Match all disturbed services to existing finish. e. The Town of North Reading will waive Building Permit Fees but the Contractor is required to submit a building permit application to the Building Inspector and be issued a building permit before any work can begin C. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, services, materials, equipment, plant, machinery, apparatus, appliances, tools, supplies, and all other things necessary to do all work required for the completion of each item of the Work and as herein specified. D.
