Renovation of a library in Rolla, Missouri. Working plans call for the renovation of a library.

The contract consists of replacing the 4873 ft2 roof structure on the 908 and 920 N. Pine St. facilities. The construction will include phased demotion, wood trusses, installing TPO composite roofing and replacing suspended ceilings. The renovation will also include accommodating the existing roof condensing units and the other ancillary components. The building presently has tenants who will remain during the renovations. The project will be completed in 120 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed.Bids shall be submitted on the provided forms in the contract documents. Payment will be made in accordance with the provision of the terms of payment in the contract. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid price. Prior to contract execution, the successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. Bidders on the work will be required to comply with Missouri State prevailing wage rates, including fringe benefits, which are included in the contract documents. The successful bidder will be required to furnish insurance. A work experience summary and references must be provided substantiating experience as a part of the bid package. The contract will be awarded on the basis of the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder on the firm fixed lump sum bid. Financing for this project is with Library funds. The Rolla Public Library reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids received and to waive or not to waive any or all irregularities.
