Renovation of a municipal facility in Columbia, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 10,410-square-foot, two-story above grade municipal facility; and three-story above grade municipal facility.

Said proposals will be for the complete demolition of three additions constructed in 1975, removal and installation of new windows, removal and installation of new cast stone windowsills, and the reconstruction / repair of the original existing exterior brick masonry walls of the original courthouse building, at the areas of demolition. Painting of the entire building is included. This is a turn-key project including all site work. The project site is located at 500 Public Square, Columbia, KY 42728. Documents will be available for purchase beginning on or after February 2, 2023. Payment in full must be received prior to the contract documents being is- sued. Payments must be made payable to Adair County Fiscal Court. Bid proposals shall be accompanied by a 5% bid bond. The bond shall be payable to the Adair County Fiscal Court. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a perfor- mance bond and a payment bond for the full amount of the contract sum. The bidders shall include with their proposal a time schedule of work and proposed com- pletion date. The date of commencement of the work shall be the date the Standard Abbreviated Form of Agreement between Owner and Contractor (A104-2017) is signed by both parties to this contract. Upon the request of the Architect, bidders shall submit a cost break-down based on specification division along with a list of subcontractors. Any proposed substitutions of specified material, products, fixtures, and equipment shall be included with the Form of Proposal. The Architect's decision of approval or disapproval of a proposed substitution shall be final. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. No bidder may withdraw their proposal within 30 days after the date of the opening. All questions concerning this project must be in RFI format and faxed or emailed to the office of the architect.
