For Professional Services for Construction Material Testing for City of South Houston The City intends to award multiple on-call contracts to the most qualified contractors. Bidders shall comply with the regulations governing Federal Grants. Applicable requirements in Contracts anticipated to be awarded pursuant to this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) RFQ 2022-02 shall be funded, in whole or in part, with Federal grant monies including but not limited to the U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Department Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery program through the Texas General Land Office (GLO) and administered by the Harris County Community Services Department (HCCSD); The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and U.S. Department of Treasury State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds. Applicable requirements for CDBG Recovery Disaster funded projects include but are not limited to compliance with Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, Fair Labor Standards, Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action, and Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968. Requests for interpretation (and other questions) must be made in writing via e-mail to LAant@SouthHoustonTx.gov no later than December 2, 2022, 12: 00 p.m. CST. The City of South Houston reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in bids received. The City of South Houston pays for goods and services according to the provisions of Chapter 2251 of the Government Code. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time
