Renovation of a mixed-use development in Manchester, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 11,656-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.

Clay County Board of Education (OWNER) will receive proposals through Codell Construction Company (Construction Manager) to furnish all labor and materials to complete the Clay County Storage Building - ESSER II/ARP, located at 2103 S. Highway 421, Manchester, KY 40962. Work is to be performed in accordance with plans, Specifications, and addenda prepared by JRA Architects (ARCHITECT), Brown+Kubican (Structural Engineers) and CMTA (M/E ENGINEER). In addition to requirements of KRS 45A, this project is partially funded by ESSER II and ARP funds, which require the general procurement standards of 2 C.F.R. 200.318, including Federal Prevailing Wages required by the Davis-Bacon Act. Adherence to the wages will be applicable, including weekly submittal of certified payroll reports. The Project Schedule will be issued via addendum. The contract will include liquidated damages assessed at $1,000.00/day if the completion date is not met. Successful Bidders are required to furnish a 100% Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bond for this Project. Each bid must be accompanied by a 5% Bid Bond. The bid will be submitted in duplicate on copies of the Form of Proposal located in the Volume One Project Manual Bidding and Contract Documents. Both copies of the Form of Proposal and Bid Bond shall be placed in a manila envelope and have the Project Name and Proposed Bid Package number affixed. No Bidder may withdraw a bid submitted for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of bids. Questions should be directed to the Construction Manager and the Architect.
