Renovation of a residential development in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Working plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The New Bedford Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for the Selected Upgrade of Sprinkler System REBID in New Bedford, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by C.A. Crowley Engineering, Inc.. The Project consists of: Installation of new backflow preventers, rework fire pump sensing lines, install new fire pump controller, flush existing piping, replace existing sprinklers and escutcheons, add new sprinklers, install signage, and install new supervised riser isolation valves and drain valves. General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the following category of work, Fire Protection Sprinkler System, and must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and signed DCAMM Prime/General Contractor Update Statement. General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates), and made payable to the New Bedford Housing Authority.
