Renovation of a municipal facility in Venice, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

**REVISED** The need has arisen to pursue value engineering options for the Phase 3 RLA Renovation project to get within budget. Subsequently, Halfacre is requesting a revised bid based on a scenario that all work will be completed during normal business hours to a vacant building. The first floor, second floor, and the annex building will be completely vacant during construction eliminating the need for shift work, phased scheduling and noise reduction constraints. The scope of work for each bid item will remain the same. It is anticipated that the resulting construction schedule will now be 12 months in duration versus the 24 months as originally anticipated. We would also welcome any trade specific value engineering suggestions that me be available for consideration. 36-18119-11 Request for Subcontractor Bids for South County Courts, R.L. Anderson Renovation Work-Phase 3. Halfacre Construction hereby solicits Bids from qualified subcontractors for South County Courts, R.L. Anderson Renovation Work-Phase 3. The work consists of the following BID ITEMS: 1.) Selective Demolition 2.) Concrete 3.) Structural Steel/Misc. Metals 4.) Millwork/Countertops 5.) Foamed in Place Insulation 6.) Door/Frame/Hardware 7.) Glass and Glazing 8.) Drywall 9.) ACT Ceilings 10.) Flooring 11.) Painting 12.) Signage 13.) Specialties 14.) Fire Protection 15.) Plumbing 16.) HVAC 17.) Electrical 18.) Structured Cabling 19.) Audio/Visual 20.) BDA/Cellular Repeater 21.) Access Control 22.) Video Surveillance The project is located at 4000 S. Tamiami Trail, Venice, FL 34285. Bidders with a bid of $100,000 or more shall be able to provide a 100% Payment and Performance Bond prior to commencement of work. No bidder may withdraw his bid within a period of one hundred and eighty (180) days after the actual date of opening thereof. The Construction Manager reserves the right to waive any formalities, technicalities, or irregularities in; or reject any or all bids; or to re-advertise for bids and award or refrain from awarding the Contract for work. Halfacre Construction, on behalf of Sarasota County, in accordance with the provisions of Section 287.133, Florida Statutes shall affirm that A person of affiliate who has been placed on the convicted Vendor list following a conviction for a public entity crime may not submit a bid on a contract to provide any goods or services to a public entity for the construction or repair of a public building or public work, may not submit bids on leases of real property to a public entity, may not be awarded or perform work as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor, or consultant under a contract with any public entity, and may not transact business with any public entity in excess of the threshold amount provided in Section 287.017, for CATEGORY TWO for a period of 36 months from the date of being placed on the convicted vendor list.
