The City of Houghton, Michigan is seeking engineering services for Wastewater Collection System Improvements. The City intends to apply for funding through the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes & Energy's (EGLE) Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) to accomplish the Houghton Wastewater Collection System Improvements. The scope of services for the project will include:Preparation of engineering reports and funding application(s) for the project,Design, permitting, and the preparation of bidding documents for the project in conformance with applicable State and Federal requirements, bid advertisement, bid review and recommendation of award.Future construction administration and field representation services.,Assist with processing of funding agency program requirements through completion of project. Knowledge of the locality of the project and specifics of this project. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all SOQs or any part of an SOQ to waive formalities or informalities and to award to the consultant deemed to be in the best interest of the Project. Past performance on contract with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules. Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time;Specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required,Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services.
