It is the intent of this specification to describe the minimum requirements for awarding a contract for a licensed alarm system company to perform inspection, testing, maintenance and/or monitoring of security and/or fire alarm systems in County offices. It is not necessary for a vendor to bid all systems. Service locations 1. Malone DMV Office 355 West Main Street Malone, NY 12953 2. Saranac Lake DMV Office 30 Main Street Saranac Lake, NY 12953 3. Franklin County Emergency Services 55 Bare Hill Road Malone, NY 12953 4. Franklin County Courthouse 355 W Main St Malone, NY 12953 5. Franklin County Social Services 184 Finney Blvd. (old Nursing Home) Malone, NY 12953. Contract duration: It is the intent of the County to begin contract(s) for any awarded services to commence on January 1, 2023 and end on December 31, 2023 with the option to renew for up to two (2) additional one year terms upon agreement by both parties at the same terms and conditions. The County reserves the right to cancel the agreement on thirty (30) days written notice. For policy or rate questions call the NYS Department of Labor Utica Office at (315) 793-2314. Formal requests for clarification or questions regarding the terms of this bid should be directed in writing to Joel Perry, Assistant Purchasing Agent at joel.perry@franklincountyny.gov or by fax to (518) 483-0141. Any information given to a Bidder in response to a formal request will be furnished to all Bidders as an addendum to this solicitation, if such information is deemed necessary for the preparation of the bid, or if the lack of such information would be detrimental to the submission of uniform bids. Award: Award of contract(s) shall be made to the lowest responsible, qualified bidder(s) whose bid complies with all of the provisions required to render it formal. The county shall award contract(s) by individual location or in whole, based on the lowest responsible pricing. The county may require any or all bidders to present evidence of experience, ability, and financial standing, as well as, a statement as to the equipment which the bidder will have available for the execution of this contract.
