As of Sept 4, 2024, this rfp has been awarded to multiple design firms on a contractual basis. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The County of Volusia is seeking the services of professional consultants to provide Architectural and Engineering Services for repair and renovation projects throughout the County. The scope of work under this solicitation includes professional architectural and engineering services which may include investigation, studies, planning, design, permitting and bidding, and construction administration assistance for repairs, renovation, upgrades, and occupancy changes at buildings at County facilities. The scope of services shall consist of but not be limited to: a. Investigation of existing buildings or sites and preparation of drawings, reports, calculations, cost estimates, schedules. Coordination of special services such as testing, surveying, commissioning b. Architectural and Engineering services required for repairs, renovations and re-configurations of buildings and systems including preparation of drawings, specifications, obtaining permits and approvals. This may include addition of new equipment to support the requirements due to changes in occupancy/ re-configuration of buildings. c. Assist County staff with evaluation of buildings and systems, recommendations for update/ upgrades, development of contract plans and specifications, obtaining permits, overseeing construction/ system installations, commissioning, and testing to assure compliance with codes and regulations. 12/22/2022 - Final date to receive written questions The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time
