Site work and new construction of a medical facility in Neepawa, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the construction of a 179,916-square-foot, three-story above grade, 63-bed medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.
The Neepawa Health Centre project consists of sequential, phased tendering so as to achieve the construction of a new green-field hospital in Neepawa, Manitoba. The facility is approximately 16,722 m2, three storeys, and features cast-in-place concrete piles and foundations, steel superstructure, and all related work (Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Landscape, and others) indicated in this and other (previously issued or yet to be issued) tender packages. The building program includes Surgery, Diagnostics, In-Patient, Emergency, Labour and Delivery, Pharmacy, and Ambulatory departments. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com TIMELINE: Project Mobilization - early November 2022 and foundations scope is expected to begin January 2023. Sub trade tender package recently closed; submissions are under review. It is unclear at this time is the Construction Manager will release the awarded trade (s) for publication. Project completion is currently targeted May 26, 2025. *The project value listed reflects the total project estimate.
