General Provisions/Information of Contractors Work: Definition: The word Provide means to furnish and install by contractor. Contractor shall provide a turnkey labor installation, which includes the following services and their associated costs: 1) Provide HVAC Mechanical, Electrical and Structural engineering design by a licensed P.A. professional Engineer. 2) Provide compliance with all codes and standards - IEC, IBC-2015, IMC-2015, IECC-2015, IFGC2015, IEBC- 2015, IPC-2015, ASHRAE, SMACNA, Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. 3) Provide Engineered and Stamped Drawings and specifications suitable for Permit and Construction. 4) Recalculate heating and cooling loads in all spaces affected by this project to be used to properly select both the terminal and central equipment. Do not simply replace equipment one-for-one. Calculate the loads and apply results to properly size equipment in compliance with latest codes and standards. 5) Verify existing relief air route from all rooms within scope of work. Update relief air if required. Provide new relief openings with appropriate fire or fire/smoke dampers as required by IBC & IMC codes. (Cannot use corridors for return/relief air per 2015 IMC code.) 6) Provide verification of all existing HVAC equipment quantities, sizes, and types. 7) Submit final plans, specifications, and equipment submittal information to Owner for review and approval.
