The City of Kelowna invites proposals for the construction of: Project A - New sanitary sewer mains to replace the existing asbestos cement (AC) pipes on Francis Avenue, the lanes south of Francis Avenue to the south of Patterson Avenue between Pandosy and Richter Street, as well as the east lane west of Richter Street between Francis Avenue and Birch Avenue in Kelowna, B.C. Project B - New sanitary sewer and water (optional work) mains to replace the existing asbestos cement (AC) pipes on Osprey Avenue, Bath Street and Gore Street in Kelowna, B.C. The Work can be briefly summarized as follows: Project A – East Pandosy Sewer Upgrades Remove 626 m of AC Sanitary Main Install 757 m of new PVC Sanitary Main Remove and Replace 70 Sanitary Services Pavement restoration of 5,617 m2 and other related surface restorations Project B – Osprey Area Sewer Upgrades Remove 178 m of AC Sanitary Main Install 490 m of new PVC Sanitary Main Remove and Replace 34 Sanitary Services Install 205 m of new PVC Water Main (Optional Work) Remove and Replace 6 Water Services (Optional Work) Pavement restoration of 4,404 m2 and other related surface restorations These Works have an estimated budget of $3,400,000 including the Contingency of $150,000 combined for both Project A and B.
