PROJECT SCOPE: The Ultraviolet Disinfection System Improvements at Lucas and North Regional Wastewater Treatment Plants project requires the contractor to remove and replace equipment associated with the existing ultraviolet (UV) disinfection systems. This project involves the installation of new UV disinfection equipment and controls, installation of new electrical equipment and conduit, modifications to the existing UV channels to house the new UV disinfection equipment, weir, and slide gates, installation of new floor plating (UV basin covers), cleaning and inspection of the existing UV channel before installing equipment, installation of a new steel canopy at North Regional WWTP, modifications to the existing canopy at Lucas WWTP, and the replacement of concrete sidewalks and sealant. Construction time will be 365 calendar days to complete work.
