Site work for a water / sewer project in Sidney, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of localized re-coating of previously coated metal surfaces, concrete repairs to several of the concrete pile caps and other repairs/replacements as indicated on the Drawings at the Anacortes Ferry Terminal, located at the terminus of Ocean Avenue, Town of Sidney. The re-coating program involves the rehabilitation of serval items over water and within the intertidal zone, including piles (bearing), floating leads, and other various elements. The works include the removal of localized existing coatings to a substrate acceptable to the Consultant and the coatings supplier/manufacturer, application of a new, approved high durability (2+ year warranty) coating system designed for highly corrosive marine environments, and removal and repair of deteriorated concrete. The concrete repair program involves the removal of deteriorated concrete and the repair of vertical concrete surfaces over water and within the intertidal zone. Cancelled - Plans to retender has not been determined.
