Plans call for a universally accessible playground at the Jade Street Park As of June 12, 2024, final design has commenced. Construction documents are anticipated to be completed in November 2024. The project is anticipated to bid in January 2025. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The proposed work consists of development of a universally accessible (UA), ADA compliant and inclusive playground design at Jade Street Park, 4400 Jade St, Capitola, CA 95010. This new playground will replace and potentially expand the existing playground at Jade Street Park, one of the City’s community park facilities. Proposed services include community outreach, conceptual and final design, project specifications, and cost estimating. Assume a project construction budget of approximately $1,000,000 when determining the level of effort needed in responding to this RFP.
