Renovation of a mixed-use development in Bainbridge, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Bainbridge-Guilford Central School District invites sealed bids, in duplicate, for: Electrical Work Lighting Replacement For: 2022-23 Capital Outlay Project for: Jr/Sr High School Prospective bidders shall note that this is a single prime contract under Wicks Law. Each bidder shall submit with its bid a separate sealed list that names each subcontractor that the bidder will use to perform work on the contract, and the agreed-upon amount to be paid to each, for: (a) general construction, (b) plumbing and gas fitting, and (c) steam heating, hot water heating, ventilating and air conditioning apparatus. If Bidder is to be self-performing all work, Bidder shall put this in writing in a sealed envelope enclosed with the bid form at the time of bid. Bidders should refer to the 2008 Wicks Reform for additional bid submission procedures not otherwise outlined in the contract documents. Prospective Bidders will be issued a maximum of two (2) sets each. Subcontractors, Material Suppliers, etc., will be issued a maximum of one (l) set each. Contract documents will be delivered via UPS Ground service upon request and receipt of an additional non-refundable delivery and handling charge of $25 per set, payable by separate check to Plan and Print Systems, Inc. All requests for delivery to locations outside of Upstate NY will incur an additional shipping charge based on the metering increase for those locations. Any sets required in excess of the above-mentioned maximums are to be obtained directly by interested parties at the full cost of printing, at their cost, directly from Plan and Print Systems. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids. Each Bidder must deposit with its Bid, security in an amount and form subject to the conditions provided in the Contract Documents. Withdrawal of Bids will be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The work of this project shall be completed by the dates set forth in Section 011100 entitled Summary of Work. Requests for interpretation, information or clarification (RFI) of the Contract Documents must be made in writing to King + King Architects. Responses to RFIs will not be made over the telephone. Responses to RFIs will be advisory only and will not modify the Contract Documents. The Contract Documents stand as published except as modified by written Addenda before bid and Modifications after execution of the Agreement.
