Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work consists of construction of a new parking lot with HMA and/or concrete pavements including an accessible parking stall, ADA compliant curb ramp, sidewalk, storm sewers, accessible pre-engineered pit toilet, and electric service & lighting for new parking lot. All proposals shall be accompanied by either a bid bond on the "Proposal Bid Bond" form contained in the proposal, executed by a corporate surety company satisfactory to the Carbondale Park District, or a bank cashier's check, an irrevocable letter of credit or a properly certified check payable to the Carbondale Park District for not less than 5 percent (5%) of the amount bid, or for the amount listed in the specifications. The Carbondale Park District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities, and reserves the right to determine the qualifications of any and all contractors to perform the work required under this contract. No bid may be withdrawn after the time for opening of the bids is past.
