Site work, paving and new construction of a fire / police facility in Quinlan, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 3,706-square-foot, one-story above grade fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
General Contractors must break out the bids into (2) contracts as described herein. Contract #1 is for materials only to be dropped on site and paid by separate grant monies. Contract #2 is for the labor portion on contract #1 items and the materials and labor for the remaining portion of the project. Contract #1 - Materials Only - includes Pre-engineered metal building system steel package, masonry material and ties, allowance for furniture - (lounge chairs and couch, lockers, beds, desk, and gym equipment), allowance for appliances - (refrigerator, dishwasher, washer & dryer, and microwave), mechanical HVAC system and duct work, and (4) unit heaters for shop area. Contract #2 - General Construction for new one-story fire station - includes all labor to install items in contract #1, Sitework for excavation, utilities, paving, and landscaping, building and interiors as per the documents provided.
