The City of Burke is soliciting proposals to provide engineer- ing services for an outdoor covered picnic area with restrooms and/or other eligible projects financed by the Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Fund of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. The City reserves the right to negotiate with any and all individuals or firms that submit proposals and may award one or more contracts to one or more service provider(s). Section 3 Residents and Business Concerns, Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises and Women Business Enterprises, and Labor Surplus Area firms are encouraged to submit proposals. As of July 30, 2025, funding has not been allocated. A timeline to select a design firm has not been established. It is currently unknown to if a professional design service timeline will be reissued.
