This Invitation to Tender consists of snow removal, sanding and salting services on behalf of District Scholaire Francophone - Sud (DSF-S). This contract shall extend for a period of four (4) years from December 21, 2022 until June 30, 2026. Contract will be awarded to the lowest compliant bid which meets the requirements detailed within the attached Specifications for Item 1 of the tender documents. Prior to Contract award, District Scholaire Francophone - Sud may consult with other departments and agencies of the Province of New Brunswick to obtain information on the Vendors past performance within the previous five (5) years. Results from the aforementioned consultations that are unsatisfactory to the Department, in its sole and absolute discretion, will result in the disqualification of the Vendors bid. The Minister may make an award to the preferred vendor conditional on the negotiation and acceptance of a detailed contract between the Province and the vendor. In such cases, should the detailed contract negotiations not be completed in a reasonable period of time, the Province reserves the right to discontinue negotiations with the vendor and subsequently enter into negotiations with the second preferred vendor. No right or duty, in whole or in part, of the vendor under a contract issued may be assigned or delegated without the prior consent of the Strategic Procurement Branch.
