Construction of Johnson Park All Bids must be in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by Earthplan Design Alternatives, P.A. and are described in general as: In general, construction will consist of the traffic control, grubbing, grading and drainage, weir construction, and erosion control. Construction of concrete ribbon, sidewalk, and pavilion pad with gravel base. Construction of electric service line, sewer service line, and water service line and yard hydrants. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid must accompany the Bid. All Bidders will be notified of the results within seven days of the bid opening. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each for 100 percent of the contract amount from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Arkansas, as security for the faithful performance and the payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the Work. The successful Bidder will be expected to enter into an agreement within the amount of time specified in the Instructions to Bidders, and to begin work at the site upon issuance of a written "Notice to Proceed". Bidders must be licensed, fulfill the terms of Arkansas Code Annotation 17-25-101, et. Seq., and must have a valid City business license if one is required. No Bids may be withdrawn within a period of 30 calendar days after the date fixed for opening Bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in the Bids and bidding, and to reject nonconforming, nonresponsive, or conditional Bids.
