Project Description: Full WSU McKay Education Building pre-renovation hazardous material removal/abatement as outlined in the R&R Environmental Scope of Work document dated July 21, 2022 to include full removal of ACM roofing as part of base bid in addition to SOW. Some scheduled phasing may occur as required to allow general contractor access to completed areas as they are made available and cleared for demolition/construction activities and possible discussions/addendums may be generated with short listed abatement contractors prior to bidding. A completed unit cost sheet will be required at time of bid. Mobilization expected 5/15/2023. DFCM is entering into a Multi-Step Bidding Process for Construction Services. A short-listing of Contractors will be based on the evaluation of proposals submitted and the selection criteria outlined in the solicitation documents contained herein. Short-listed Contractors will be invited to submit bids on the project. The only Contractors allowed to bid on this project will be Contractors short-listed by the selection committee. All Contractors responding to this procurement must comply with and require all of their Subcontractors to comply with the license laws as required by the State of Utah.
