The Madison County Drainage Board will receive sealed bids for equipment rentals and labor for Drain Periodic Maintenance and Repair, Mowing and Spraying on the Regulated Drains of Madison County for the calendar year 2023. Bidders are required to carry Workmens Compensation and Employee Liability Insurance and Comprehensive Public Liability and Property Damage Insurance the minimum limits of which shall be $1,000,000.00 combined single limit. Insurance is required as a measure of protection and the Contractor's liability is not to be limited by the amounts specified in the Insurance Policies. The contractor will be required to show proof of insurance to the County Surveyor and/or Madison County Drainage Board prior to the awarding of the contract. Contractors shall enroll in and verify the work eligibility status of newly hired employees through E-Verify program as defined in IC 22-5-1.7- 3. Copies of the bid and itemized proposal forms may be obtained by bidders as of December 5, 2022 through the Office of the Madison County Surveyor at the Madison County Government Center, Anderson, Indiana. The bids shall be addressed to the Madison County Drainage Board, be properly executed and shall be accompanied with a certificate of liability insurance of $1,000,000.00 minimum and submitted on the forms provided. No bidder may withdraw his proposal within a period of ninety (90) days following the date set for receiving proposals. The Madison County Drainage Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, all to the advantage of Madison County.
