Project Name: CA Border - Needle Mountain Rd Project (TRACS) Number: F0557 01D District: Northwest Route/MP: I-40 / MP 0 - 2.54 Funding Source: State & NHPP Construction Funding FY: FY 2025 The section of I-40 from the California border to Needle Mountain Road is in need of pavement rehabilitation. This same section of I-40 will undergo a pavement preservation under project F0464 which is currently being advertised for construction with bid opening slated for December 2, 2022. That project will act as a short-term solution in anticipation that this project, F0557, will implement a more comprehensive pavement rehabilitation. This is a pavement rehabilitation project which will include necessary mill & fill along I-40 travel lanes, shoulders, service ramps, and crossroads within ADOT right-of-way. Other safety improvements will include guardrail upgrades, culvert extensions, tree removal, fence replacement, and other necessary improvements/repairs. Project deliverables include: Scoping Letter (Draft & Final) Stage III Stage IV Final PS&E Questions, in Writing, Shall Be Received by Ecs at the Below Email Address Until 3 Business Days Before Soi Due Date at 2:00 P.m. (Arizona Time). No Further Questions Shall Be Accepted After the Time Specified. Final Questions Due: November 30, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. (Arizona Time) SOI Submittal Date: December 5, 2022 at 11:00 A.M.
