Pursuant to the General Statutes of North Carolina informal bids, subject to the conditions and specifications herein, are invited for the purchase and installation of two boilers at Henderson County Human Services. Deadline for Questions 4:00 pm November 28,2022 Any and all questions, concerns and requests for additional information shall be directed to the Finance Department to the attention of Doug Guffey, Purchasing Agent: Doug Guffey hcpurchasing@hendersoncountync.gov The undersigned, as bidder, hereby declares that this proposal is made without connection with any other person, company, or parties making a similar bid or proposal, and that the proposal is in all respects fair and in good faith, without collusion or fraud. The County reserves the right to request pricing on optional equipment or services along with the pricing for the main or primary product or items when applicable. At the discretion of the County, some or all of the options requested may or may not be added and purchased based upon necessity and the availability of budgeted funds. The bid award will be made to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder for the main or primary product or services on the Bid Proposal Form. Pricing for any additional options will be requested in a separate section of the bid and will not be included in the determination of the bid award. This addendum forms a part of and modifies the bidding requirements, contract forms, contract conditions, and/or the specifications for the Request for Proposals: Human Services Boiler Replacement. Bidder shall acknowledge receipt of the Addendum by signature and date below. The signed addendum shall be submitted as a part of your proposal. Failure to do so may subject the Bidder to disqualification. The following modifications and additions are to be made to the scope of work: o Shall replace the two existing finned boilers with two condensing boilers. Note: This is a change in the type of boiler from the original specifications. o Shall replace the two circulation pumps for both boilers if required by the manufacturer of the boilers o Shall install mixing valve as required per manufacturer specifications o Henderson County will be responsible for the integration controls of the units. o Work for boiler replacement cannot commence until April 2023 o The timeline for questions to be submitted from bidders has been extended to 11/29/2022 at 4:00PM EST. o Answers shall be provided by 11/30/2022 by 5:00PM EST.
