Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Cactus, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 2,200-square-foot, one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.

A timeline for award has not yet been established.**  Project is for new construction consisting of a 2200 SF masonry Concessions/Restroom structure, two (2) masonry dugouts, multi-purpose ballfield, two (2) sand volleyball courts, one (1) sepak takraw court, a monumental sign, utilities, native landscaping, irrigation, lighting, and parking. Successful Bidders shall be required to comply with all laws pertaining to minimum wage and discrimination of persons. Minimum rates of pay to all laborers and mechanics on the project must not be less than as provided in the local prevailing wage rates and shall comply with all other applicable wage laws of the State of Texas. A cashier's check, certified check or acceptable bidder's bond, payable to the City of Cactus in an amount equal to not less than five percent of the bid submitted, must accompany each bid as guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the Bidder will, within fifteen days after receipt of Contract Documents, enter into a contract with the City of Cactus and will execute bonds on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. The City of Cactus, TX reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or to increase or decrease or omit any item or items and/or award to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. The City of Cactus, TX also reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bidding.
