Demolition, site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Brock, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
BID SECURITY: a. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the Owner or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. b. The bid bond or its comparable will be returned to the bidder as soon as practical after the opening of the bids. BONDS: a. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required. b. A two (2) year Maintenance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required for this project. The deadline to ask questions is 5/24/2024 11:50 PM CDT There will be no pre-bid conference for this contract. Contract Time: The work will be "Construction Complete" as defined in the Special Instructions to Bidders within two hundred seventy (270) calendar days from the date when the Notice to Proceed.
