Description

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Mississauga, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

CVC is seeking proposals from qualified engineering firms to further the design development of proposed of public access features at Jim Tovey Lakeview Conservation Area (JTLCA). Proposed features include: two entrance drum gateway features, teaching amphitheatre with canopy, a wooden boardwalk and viewing platform, bridge abutments for two prefabricated bridges, and a barge access platform with fencing, guardrails and seatwall. TIMELINE: RFP for consultants has closed; award results are not currently available for publication. Preliminary budget estimates are less than $1 million. Project may be followed once approved to bid. Coverage of this report is discontinued at this time.
