The approximate scope of work for this project involves installation of Type M inlets, installation of 6 PVC underdrain, street restoration, and alternative options for the installation of a new curb and driveway apron. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope plainly endorsed on the outside for HUTCHINSON TERRACE DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS and be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Township of Ridley. Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the Federal Labor Standards Provisions and PA Prevailing Wages, various insurance requirements, Central Contractors Registration, various equal opportunity provisions, the requirement for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price and a one-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price. All Contractors and Subcontractors of any tier that perform work under this contract must comply with the Township of Ridley Ordinance No 1943 Minimum Standards of Contractor Responsibility. Each bidder must submit a Contractor Responsibility Certification, and if applicable, a Subcontractor list and Subcontractor Responsibility Certification with the bid. Failure to submit the documents may result in bid being rejected. The Township of Ridley reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids thereof, and waive any informalities in the bidding, as they deem in the interest of the Township.
