Description of work: The 2022 Preservation ADA Improvements Groups 2A & 3 project will construct or upgrade sidewalk curb ramps to meet current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations prior to pavement preservation work including sidewalk, curb and pavement restoration, and installing detectable warning surfaces, at various locations in Clark County. Primary bid items: Construction Surveying; Crushed Surfacing Base Course; HMA Cl. 3/8 In. PG 58H-22; Landscape Restoration; Cement Conc. Traffic Curb and Gutter; Cement Conc. Pedestrian Curb; Cement Conc. Sidewalk; Cement Conc. Curb Ramp, and Traffic Control. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the Bidder's company name, project title, project number, bid opening date, and "SEALED BID" clearly marked on the outside of the envelope. Bids submitted by FAX or email will not be accepted. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or proposal bond in an amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish a satisfactory contract bond, the bid deposit shall be forfeited to Clark County.
