As of July 18, 2024, this project has been abandoned. The owner has selected a Construction Managers. Awarded CM's: Perry-McCall Construction, Inc. for New Louis S. Sheffield and Charles Perry Partners, Inc. for Spring Park Elementary. Duval County Public Schools (the "DCPS", "District" or "Owner") is issuing this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to interested firms for the purpose of selecting two (2) experienced and qualified providers for Construction Management at Risk services. The Construction Management at Risk Firms ("Construction Manager", "CM", "Contractor") are responsible for the successful, timely, and economical completion of the New Louis S. Sheffield and Spring Park Elementary Schools. A Prototype design will be selected for these two (2) schools projects. Two (2) Construction Management at Risk Firms will be selected based on scoring and negotiations (see Article 6.2). RFQ Construction Management at Risk - New Louis S. SHEFFIELD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL - The existing Louis S. Sheffield Elementary will be demolished and replaced on-site at 13333 Lanier Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32226 with a prototype school and have a capacity of approximately 1,000 students. Site improvements for the new school will include parking, playfields, and playgrounds. Total Project Budget: $28,845,990 (b) SPRING PARK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL - The existing Spring Park Elementary School will be demolished and replaced on-site at 2250 Spring Park Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32207 with a prototype school and have a capacity of approximately 700 students.
