**As of February 15, 2023 this project was awarded to: MW GOLDEN CONSTRUCTORS FIRE PROTECTION EQUIPMENT AND SYSTEMS INCLUDING FIRE HYDRANT for $794,565.00 MW GOLDEN CONSTRUCTORS HEATING, VENTILATING AND AIR CONDITIONING (HVAC) for $2,369,835.00 Install Fire Sprinklers Hubert Work Gymnasium Phase 1 and Upgrade HVAC and ADA Hubert Work Gymnasium Phase 2 The project includes the combining of two separate planned projects at the Hubert Work Gym on the Campus of the Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind into one prime contract. Project A, CSDB Hubert Work Gym Fire Sprinkler Retrofit includes the addition of fire sprinklers. Project B, CSDB Hubert Work Gym Phase 2 includes new restrooms, new ceilings, new lighting and new mechanical systems. Project A scope of work includes the addition of fire sprinklers to the Hubert Work Gym. New ceilings and lighting are also included because of the work required to install the sprinkler system. Project B scope of work includes new restrooms, new ceilings, new lighting and new mechanical systems in the Hubert Work Gym. Replacement of existing mechanical systems will provide ventilation heating and cooling to the gym and fitness areas within the building. The scope also includes removal of ACM flooring throughout the facility with replacement flooring being installed. This project is funded through Federal State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) Revenue Replacement and as such the contractor will be required to comply with Federal Provisions as attached to the sample contract.
