Last Day to Submit Questions for Clarification:December 15, 2022, 2:00pm Clarifications Issued by City on or before:December 21, 2022, 2:00pm The City of Palm Desert ("City") is requesting proposals from qualified firms ("Proposers") for Management and Operations of the Palm Desert Aquatic Center ("Services") to establish a Professional Services Agreement ("Agreement"). To serve and promote the welfare of its residents, the City intends to procure the Services, as described below. The Consultant will provide management and operations services for City of Palm Desert in accordance with the Contract Documents at the Palm Desert Aquatic Center (PDAC), located at 73751 Magnesia Falls Drive, Palm Desert, CA 92260. The City is seeking a partner who embodies high quality standards, emphasizes excellent customer service, and has the ability to maintain consistently high standards while operating the Aquatic Center. The City desires to select a qualified firm to operate the PDAC and can deliver optimal value and customer service. The City hereby requests Proposers to demonstrate their ability to provide and perform services for the PDAC including, but not limited to, management, operations, marketing, programming, concessions, and janitorial services.The City is a charter city in the State of California. The City is a thriving community of approximately 50,000 full-time and 32,000 seasonal residents. It is located in the Coachella Valley in eastern Riverside County, part of the low desert region of Southern California. The City features big-city resources in a friendly, small-town setting, offering first class educational opportunities, safe and clean streets, as well as plentiful shopping and community events. Palm Desert is considered the geographical, educational and retail center of the Coachella Valley. Incorporated in 1973, the City operates under a council-manager form of government with a five-member City Council elected at large. Each council member serves a four-year term. The City Council meets on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month at Palm Desert City Hall, 73-510 Fred Waring Drive. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
