Completed plans call for the construction of a 375,850-square-foot, 16-story above grade office development; two-story below grade, 417-space parking garage; 2,052-square-foot retail development; 10,270-square-foot day care center; 27,874-square-foot library; 8,186-square-foot medical facility; 53,265-square-foot recreation facility; and 5,810-square-foot clubhouse / community center.
The City of Toronto (the "City") requires a qualified General Contractor (the "Vendor") to provide construction services for the new Etobicoke Civic Centre ("ECC") Project. The Successful Vendor shall provide complete construction services and will be solely responsible for all activities throughout the construction phase until the completion of the project including the warranty period. Scope of work includes a 16-storey office building + two (2) levels of underground parking. Uses within the building are as follows: Medical Clinic (approx. 758.17 sq m), Community Centre; Westwood YMCA (approx. 538.78 sq m), Day Nursery (approx. 951.11 sq m), Library - Toronto Public Library Branch, (approx. 2,581.12 sq m), Office (approx. 34,801,67 sq m), Recreational Use (approx. 4,932.79 sq m), Retail (approx. 190.00 sq m). Project is part of the Bloor-Kipling Site.
