Renovation of a mixed-use development in Danville, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and office development.
The project consists of renovating the large open office area and creating smaller offices and corridor. Prevailing wages in accordance with Vermilion County is required. Bid security is required, in the form of a bid bond or certified check in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the base bid as guarantee that the bid will not be withdrawn within 30 days after the date of opening of bids, and that the successful bidder will enter into a Contract for the work awarded to them. Bid security shall be made payable to Vermilion Association for Special Education. Bonds are required: Both a Performance Bond and a Labor and Payment Bond are required for this project, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. Your Bid will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 30 days after submission. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids or any part thereof, to waive any informality in bidding, and to accept bids deemed most favorable to the owner. Award of a contract is anticipated to occur by Jan. 11, 2023. The work area will not be available for on-site work activities until Monday Feb 13, 2023. The Work shall be Substantially Complete on or before Wednesday May 31, 2023 with Final Completion on or before Monday June 12, 2023.
