Site work and new construction of a swimming pool in Joliette, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 44,000-square-foot, two-story above grade swimming pool; and for site work for a swimming pool.
Construction of a new City aquatic complex. The facility will house a multilane semi-Olympic swimming pool and a recreational and learning pools, a gymnasium, multipurpose rooms as well as premises for sports and recreational organizations. Scope of work, budget and timelines of development of the project are being finalized. The value of the project is preliminary estimated to be as high as $20 million. TIMELINE: The Quebec Government refused to allocate funding for the construction of the regional aquatic complex and the project was cancelled. Coverage of this report has been discontinued.
