In general, the work consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required for the construction of a two-story addition to the existing Township Building, approximately 880 square feet per floor. Work includes general construction, plumbing, mechanical and electrical construction. The East Cocalico Township Authority hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse and reject any or all bids submitted, and also reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 10 percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a Bid bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. Such Bid bond will be issued in the form included in the Bidding Documents. It shall be mandatory that the power of attorney accompanying the Bid Bond evidencing the authority of the person signing on behalf of the surety company to sign the Bid Bond be dated the same date as the Bid Bond.
