As of August 26, 2024, this project is under construction. The major items of work include, building demolition, grading, domestic water, sanitary sewer, dry utilities, new roadway construction and roadway widening including curb gutter and sidewalk, surfacing, paving, stormwater system, stormwater pump station, traffic signal system, illumination, landscaping, irrigation, striping, and traffic control. Engineer's estimated range of probable cost is $5 - 7 million before WSST. Proposals received after the time fixed for opening will not be considered. All work performed on the project will be subject to prevailing state and federal wage rates. Each bid proposal shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, postal money order, or surety bond in an amount equal to at least 5 percent ofthe amount of the bid proposal. Checks shall be made payable to the City of Wenatchee. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance and payment bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Wenatchee. The City ofWenatchee reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities in the bid or in the bidding.
